- I purchased these binoculars for my husband when we go up to our houseboat on holidays. He was thrilled to see my efforts but said the 8x magnification is not enough. Long story short it was more than enough for him he is completely satisfied as am I. He has yet to drop them in the water :) but I hope they live up to their standards. (Posted on 9/19/12)
