Thermal Imaging Monocular Pulsar Quantum LS19 - PL77308

Thermal Imaging monocular Quantum LS19 is especially created for recognition, detection and oservation purposes during daytime and late at night.Quantum LS19 delivers excellent picture quality while other optical devices, such as: night vision gogglesspotting scopesbinoculars and night vision monoculars remain inefficient in extreme weather conditions or low light environments. The Quantum LS-19 is an exceptional combination of high-definition micro bolometer sensor, Germanium lens F38/0.8 and frost proof OLED display (640x480). The LS 19 Quantum - thermal imaging monocular is equipped with a 2.5x-magnifying lens, which allows you to see closer and with higher quality like never before. Thermal imaging principle of that monocular is based on the temperature amplitudes of the matters under observation. Once heat waves travel through the lens they are being converted and transferred to a high-contrast OLED (organic light-emitting diode) display. The Quantum LS19 PL77308 has two different polarity modes: White-Hot or Black-Hot. Manual control elements such as: On and Off, sensor calibration, image inversion are placed right on the top of the thermal monocular for your convenience. Large control buttons allow both bare hands operations and operation in gloves with no sensitivity loss or quality decrease. Multiple features of the Pulsar Quantumthermal viewer includes: Running time settings, Video input/output signal controls, Brightness and Contrast adjustments can be executed with the help of the encoder wheel fast and accurately. The Quantum thermal imaging monocular series come equipped with a connection jack, allowing external power supplies to be plugged. Quantum thermal scopes also have video output for recording into external devices while observing. Pulsar Quantum LS 19 has very short start-up time (< 10 sec). The image remains stable at all times, without any distortions across the field of view. The monocular has no tunnel vision effect, which makes your thermal imaging experience unforgettable and high end at all times. Quantum thermal imagers can be operated within a wide temperature range from -20°C to +50°C. Quantum LS19 PL77308 is build into a robust carbon body, making it very light, durable and as a result, irreplaceable. The thermal imager is equipped with a Weaver-rail Mil-Std 1913.

Perfect for night security Review by TKO

Quality
For wide-area night security work, a thermal scope is a must. Intruders can wear camo gear and hide in the thickest of undergrowth, but I'll still see them with my Quantum LS19. The range of this thing is incredible. It'll pick up a human at 500 yards, on the darkest of nights and in any weather (including thick fog and heavy rain). It's easy to operate (even in gloves) thanks to its big, chunky buttons and its simple UI and is a good size and weight for hand-held use (ie its easy to hold steady). The only downside, for me, is the battery life could be a bit longer, but that seems to be a general issue with thermal imaging devices. Recommended. (Posted on 3/17/2014)
